Why do my numbers look wrong?
- Date range. Make sure both screens use the same range. Store comparisons for a period still in progress use the same number of elapsed days from the previous period, not the whole of it.
- Order status. Sales screens count all booked orders by default (everything not cancelled). Pick Invoiced in the status filter to match an invoiced-only report from your ERP.
- What it counts. Each screen’s header defines its metric. Revenue is booked sales from your sales feed; site visits come from the tracker.
- Maps show fewer visits than totals. Maps only show visits Plunk could place on the map.
- Bot traffic is filtered out of visit counts, so they can be lower than another analytics tool.
- Missing recent days? A feed may have stopped. See my feed stopped updating.
