What's new

  • More credits on every Studio plan. Studio Designer now includes 200 credits a month (was 100), Studio Pro 500 (was 300) and Studio Team 2,000 (was 1,500). Prices are unchanged. See plans and pricing.
  • Brand kits for each client in Plunk Studio. Make as many named brand kits as you need, one per client or for anything else. Pick a kit in the image editor, clip editor, timeline and product video, and choose per board whether clients see your own identity or a client’s kit. Your workspace kit stays the default, and it’s the same brand kit Plunk Commerce uses.
  • Shopify disconnects pause, they don’t fail. If a Shopify store is disconnected or the app is uninstalled, its product sync pauses quietly instead of failing every run. Reconnect and it picks up again.
  • Plunk Commerce includes everything. Plunk Studio, the storefront apps (COM/COL Visualizer, Sectional Builder and Room Planner) and the Customer API are all part of Plunk Commerce.
  • API keys and quotas. Each API key now has a default quota of 1,000 requests a day and 20,000 a month. Sales and order-status ingest need a secret key. See the API changelog.
  • Standard or Best on every video. Pick Standard for quick social and product-page clips or Best for hero videos, on every video screen. Best is the default, and Studio remembers your choice.
  • Turntables default to 180°. 180° front to back is the reliable choice for most products. 360° full turn is in Beta.
  • You choose every paid retry. Room renders, Lifestyle scenes and image batches no longer retry on their own. Set the number of attempts in Studio settings, under Quality check. The default is one.
  • Approve, then deliver. Approving work never sends it anywhere. Delivery is its own Deliver step, and Home and Review remind you about approved work that hasn’t been delivered.
  • Product video. Turn catalog photos into turntables, detail shots, lifestyle clips, social ads and before-and-after videos, in 9:16, 4:5, 1:1, 2:3 and 16:9, with music and voiceover. Every clip is checked against your product. See make a product video.
  • Make a video and the timeline editor. Build one video from your products, library or uploads on a storyboard, then fine-tune it on a full timeline with the clip editor. See make a video.
  • Lifestyle scenes and marketplace image sets. Put products in real settings, and make image sets sized and named for each marketplace. See lifestyle scenes and marketplace sets.
  • Library. Your catalog products, fabrics and finishes, and everything made in Studio, in one place. See Library.
  • One Room Planner. Draw a room to size, start from a floor plan, a photo or a template, arrange your products and render it. See plan a room to scale.
  • Plunk Studio on the Shopify App Store. Install Studio from Shopify, and send approved images and videos straight to your products. See publish to Shopify.
  • Your own music in Content Hub. Upload a music track (with its rights) to use in videos, or paste a link.
  • Open in Studio from Content Hub. Send a Content Hub image or video to Studio, edit it, and the new version comes back to Content Hub.
  • New Studio apps: Review, Customize and Room Planner. Review lets you approve or redo results one at a time. Customize changes fabric, finish and options on one product or many. See review and approve and every fabric and finish.
  • Photos from drawings. Turn line drawings and tech flats into finished product photos. See photos from drawings.
  • Colorways and fashion. Make every color of a product in one go, with options for fashion and apparel as well as home. See colorways.
  • Studio Home and categories. A new Home, and a Working on chip that shows the tools and options for your kind of product. See tools and categories.
  • A new look for Studio, in light or dark, with a choice of accent colors.
  • Territory and reps, redesigned. Drill from a rep to their dealers to the products each dealer buys, compare a rep’s product gaps against other reps, and switch between bill-to and ship-to addresses. See territory and reps.
  • Sales, forecasts and the Inventory Planner, redesigned. Clearer sales summaries, targets, and a restock queue that shows what to order and by when. See Inventory Planner.
  • Stores, redesigned. Paced comparisons, goal progress, sales by store, and each store’s top products and customers. See stores and goals.
  • Audiences and the Email section, redesigned in Plunk Commerce.
  • Customer API for rep and dealer portals. Order status from your ERP, order requests, a dealer’s open orders and products, lapse risk, live availability and the restock queue are now in the Customer API. See the API changelog.
  • Bulk email. Send bulk email from a template, and import email consent from a CSV in Plunk Commerce.
  • COM/COL requests in the API. Read customer’s-own-material requests through the Customer API, or get a webhook the moment one is submitted, accepted or declined. See webhooks.
  • Sales count every booked order by default. Sales screens now include every order that isn’t cancelled, with a status filter to show only invoiced (or any other status). See why do my numbers look wrong?.
  • Plunk Commerce and Plunk Studio launch. Both apps open to everyone at plunk.io.
  • Sign up and pay online. Choose a plan and start right away from plunk.io, with credit packs available any time.
  • Restock forecasts. See what to reorder and when, from stock on hand, inbound units, sales pace and lead time.
