How credits work in Studio
Your credit balance
Section titled “Your credit balance”Your balance is always in the top bar (for example 1,240 credits). One credit is $0.10 of usage. Everyone in the workspace shares the same pool.
| Plan | Price | Credits each month | People |
|---|---|---|---|
| Studio Designer | $19 a month | 200 | 1 |
| Studio Pro | $49 a month | 500 | 1 |
| Studio Team | $199 a month | 2,000 | 5 |
| Plunk Commerce | Includes Studio | Set by your plan | Set by your plan |
Plan credits reset to your plan’s level each month. Credit packs you buy on top never expire.
What things cost
Section titled “What things cost”Studio doesn’t print prices on buttons. Instead, every place that starts paid work (a batch, a video, a rerun) shows the total before you confirm. As a guide:
| What you make | About |
|---|---|
| An image (new fabric, finish, colorway, clean-up, lifestyle scene, marketplace image) | 13 credits each |
| Fixing one area of an image | 13 credits |
| Product video, Standard quality, 8 seconds | 19 credits silent, 24 with sound |
| Product video, Best quality, 8 seconds | 46 credits silent, 92 with sound |
| Room renders | Shown before you render |
| Crop, flip, rotate, resize, boards, share links, visualizer setup | Free |
Longer video costs more: each extra 7 seconds is about 20 credits on Standard and 80 on Best. The final video charge is worked out from what the clip actually used. A video run that fails is refunded, apart from work already done.
Attempts. Room renders and lifestyle scenes are checked when they finish. If you allow more than one attempt (in Studio settings, under Quality check), a failed check makes the picture again, and each attempt is billed. The default is one attempt.
When you run out
Section titled “When you run out”- Batches pause. A job that runs out says Paused: the workspace ran out of credits. Nothing already made is lost. Add credits, then press Resume on the job (or Resume the job from the menu in Review) to finish it.
- Single edits stop before they start. You’ll see Not enough credits for this edit. with an Add credits button.
- Video and rooms tell you the workspace is out of credits and ask you to add more before you render.
- Ask Plunk pauses too, and picks up again once credits are added.
Add credits or change your plan
Section titled “Add credits or change your plan”- Click the Add credits button on any out-of-credits message, or open Profile from your avatar and choose Billing & Usage.
- Buy a credit pack (packs need an active plan), or open the Full Billing & Usage dashboard to change your plan, see invoices, credit history and usage, or cancel.
If you installed Studio from Shopify, your plan is managed in Shopify. Choose Manage plan in Shopify to change it; credit packs work the same way.
If something looks off
Section titled “If something looks off”- A job stopped partway: Why is my job paused?
- Your balance didn’t go up after buying a pack: refresh the Billing screen, then contact support if it still hasn’t changed.
