Let Plunk Autopilot draft what to run next

  • Autopilot is in beta.
  • It works best with your sales feed, catalog and site tracker connected. See Connect your data.
  • Only owners and administrators can change the rules. Everyone else can view them.
  1. Open Marketing > Autopilot. The header shows whether it’s on and when it looks next. Click Look now to run it straight away, or Pause to stop it.
  2. Pick a lane: Everything, Campaigns, Email, Content or Markets.
  3. Review Ideas, most valuable first. Click Draft it to turn one into a draft, or Dismiss.
  4. Review Waiting for you. Each draft shows the checks it passed, such as staying under your limits, only promoting products with enough stock and avoiding your quiet dates. Click Look closer for the details.
  5. Approve a draft, or Turn it down and say why (it helps Autopilot learn). If Plunk runs your ads, the button reads Request launch and your Plunk team reviews and launches it.
  6. Check What it did. The timeline lists every change Autopilot made. Changes it may make on its own can be undone for a time, shown as Undo with the hours left.

Open Rules Autopilot follows (click Edit next to Rules it follows). Every idea is checked against these before you see it, and they save as you change them.

  • What it may do on its own: for starting a new campaign or adjusting a running one, choose Ask me first or Do it and tell me. It always pauses a campaign that’s not working, and it never raises a spending limit.
  • What it promotes and to whom: a days-of-stock floor, who sees what (for example, shoppers get ads and email while business buyers get email only), which markets and the language.
  • Channels and quiet dates: pick the channels it may use and add dates when it shouldn’t start anything.
  • Limits on volume: how many new drafts a week and how many changes per campaign a day.
  • There are no ideas. Autopilot needs recent sales and site data. Check your feeds in Manage Data.
  • A channel shows (not connected). Autopilot can’t use it until it’s connected.
